It all began with me trying to figure out the right video for our song Can I. Some people would consider it a love song, but I always thought of it as being about daring. I wanted the video to be about daring as well, but the more I thought about it, the more I knew I didn't want any made up stories for it - I wanted your stories.
I asked my brilliant friend
Julia Nygren to photograph people she ran into, holding signs that stated brave things they had done - things that had made them feel like they had overcome fears. On this blog, I will publish her photos, and hopefully, you'll send me your own bravery photos as well. In a couple of weeks, we'll turn them into a video.
About sending in photos, here are the rules:
1. Write down your act of bravery with large letters on a pretty large sign.
2. Ask a friend, or Photo Booth, to take a picture of you with the sign.
3. It's ok to be anonymous, as long as you're sincere.
4.
Upload your photo here. You can add some writing about your picture if you like, but you don't have to.
5. Your photo might be posted on this blog, and might be used for the video.
6. People will worship and respect you for your bravery forever and ever.
